5.1 Community Plans
5.1.1 Community plans (now called Sustainable Community Strategies) provide the foundation for the development of the overarching vision for West Northamptonshire. The community vision is required to shape the policies and strategy in the Joint Core Strategy which will enable implementation of the aspects of the community plans that relate to places.
5.1.2 Aspirations for the area have been combined into the joint vision of the Local Strategic Partnerships (community vision) for West Northamptonshire which has been developed in the context of National and Regional planning policy. The vision for both the Sustainable Community Strategy and the Local Strategic Partnerships for Northamptonshire is set out in Appendix B ‘Community Plans’.
